Restaurateur Simon Oren’s Tour de France Group just signed a lease for 15,000 square feet at Broadway Partners’ 450 West 33rd Street, at 10th Avenue. Oren plans to open a two-level bistro, bakery and bar in the building, which includes tenants like the Daily News and Associated Press. The deal was brokered by the landlord’s representative, Robert K. Futterman, and the restaurant is expected to open in six months with 130 feet of avenue frontage. Oren operates several other eateries in the city, including L’Express, Five Napkin Burger and Nice Matin. Research firm Real Capital Analytics lists 450 West 33rd Street as a troubled asset that is in danger of failing.
