A 2,500-square-foot house owned by one of East Hampton’s first mayors
is now on the market for $2.295 million. The five-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home was built in 1913,
designed for Dr. Frederick Russell, who was mayor from 1930 to 1936.
Many of the original features of the house, including moldings, have
been preserved. The house also has a heated pool.
