A Hyatt and a Best Western are coming to Downtown Brooklyn. The 176-room Hyatt Place hotel, developed by Sam Chang, is coming to the corner of Nevins and Schermerhorn streets and is expected to open in the first quarter of 2011. The 80-room Best Western is slated to appear at 55 Flatbush Extension.
