Tishman courting college grads

Tishman Speyer is looking to attract
soon-to-be college graduates to Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper
Village. Posters were found in an academic building at Columbia
University that reads “Renting an Apartment in NYC is Harder Than Grad
School.” A spokesperson for Tishman says it’s part of an “ongoing
leasing campaign targeting a wide range of potential residents,
including young professionals graduating from colleges and
universities.” The poster advertised one month of free rent, no broker
fee, no security deposit and that shares were welcome.
