Depeche Mode singer buys and sells

Dave Gahan, lead singer of Depeche Mode, has sold his 1,920-square-foot home at 99 Jane Street for $4 million, $300,000 less than its asking price of $4.3 million, according to Streeteasy.com. The buyer of the three-bedroom, three-bath apartment is Atalanti Martinou. Gahan and his wife, Jennifer, closed earlier this year on a penthouse at the Riverhouse condo in Battery Park City, where actor Leonardo DiCaprio also owns a unit. The couple bought the home for $5.96 million in January, according to Streeteasy.com.
