The home to see the biggest price cut today is a townhouse at 225-227 East 53rd Street, according to Streeteasy.com. The price of the 19,944-square-foot apartment was cut by $1 million, and the home is now on the market for $8.7 million. The townhouse is listed for 13 percent less than its asking price of $10 million when it first hit the market in July 2008.
