Gabriel Stulman will open a new restaurant,
Joseph Leonard, at 170 Waverly Place at Grove Street in Greenwich Village
Aug. 4. A new Red Mango location has opened on the second floor of
30 Rock on Eighth Avenue and 45th Street. Bill Telepan is planning to open a wine bar at 185 Columbus Avenue at 68th Street. Pet boutique Mulberry for Mutt is opening in the West Village.

Home and Guesthouse night clubs, both on 27th Street between 10th and 11th avenues, are closing, but word from Zagat is that the owners are launching a new spot, HRH on 21st Street between 10th and 11th avenues.
Tommy Tardie is closing his Flatiron club, Ultra, on 26th Street
between Broadway and Sixth Avenue for massive renovations. Tardie said
the club will reopen in the beginning of September under the name La
Pomme.

In Brooklyn, the not-yet-opened Provini restaurant put signs
in the window of their Eighth Avenue and 13th Street location, fueling
speculation that the spot may soon open its doors.
Rumors are swirling that notorious Williamsburg restaurateur Joe
Carroll will soon open a high-end snack food spot next to his bar, 355
Metropolitan, at Metropolitan Avenue and Havemeyer Street. Chris Iacono plans to open a pizzeria at 691 Sixth Avenue at 20th Street in South Slope/Greenwood Heights. Bonita restaurant on Bedford Avenue between South Third and South Second streets has closed two weeks early. TRD
