Three property filings registered with the city showed “big losses for big people,” according to the New York Observer. Hedge fund manager Steve Eisman sold his 1125 Park Avenue apartment for $5.2 million, down from the nearly $7 million he paid for it in 2008, according to a deed filed Friday. Minneapolis financier Dennis Mathisen sold a three-bedroom condo at 2 Columbus Avenue for $2.8 million, down from its previous purchase price of $3.05 million. Philanthropist Iris Cantor’s 110 Central Park South penthouse, purchased in 2006 for about $15 million, went into contract after a price cut to $11.9 million.
