Litigation firm Leahy & Johnson has renewed its lease for 9,520 square feet of office space at 120 Wall Street, for another 10 years. When L & J’s new lease expires in 2019, it will have been in the same space for over 60 years. While many offices change locations due to employee turnover or changing property values, Peter James Johnson Jr., one of the firm’s managing members, said that his group never saw the need to move. Citing a good relationship with the building’s owner, Silverstein Properties, Johnson said that he feels his law firm has become a “signature tenant” in the building. “I think it’s a matter of tradition, a matter of success, a matter of luck and a matter of convenience,” Johnson said.
