WTC rebuilding a “national disgrace,” Silverstein tells “60 Minutes”

The slow-moving rebuilding efforts at Ground Zero are “a national disgrace,” developer Larry Silverstein said in a “60 Minutes” segment on the site’s progress that aired last night. “I am the most frustrated person in the world,” he said, shaking his head. “It’s hard to contemplate the amount of time that’s gone by here. The tragic waste of time, and what could have been. What could have been, instead of what is today,” Silverstein said.
