Ford Models leases new Midtown

Ford Models has signed a five-year lease for 11,239 square feet on the top three floors of 57 West 57 Street, at the corner of Sixth Avenue. “The three floors offer wrap-around outdoor terraces that provide a perfect environment for photo shoots, hosting events and conducting meetings,” said Michael Thomas of Colliers International, who along with David Liberston represented Ford. Christel Engel represented 57 West 57 Street. Ford, one of the world’s premiere modelling agencies, has represented supermodels such as Christie Brinkley, Kim Alexis, Elle MacPherson and Cheryl Tiegs. Meanwhile, further east, Swiss watchmaker Breitling took 8,500 square feet on the ground, mezzanine, second and lower levels at 5 East 57th Street, with 24 feet of street frontage, marking the company’s first retail lease in the U.S, according to Crown Retail Services, which represented Breitling.
