A fresh face for ex-Danku space

Gourmet grab-and-go lunch spot Fresh & Co., a division of Café Metro that recently opened its third Manhattan location on the corner of 30th Street and Seventh Avenue, has just inked a 20-year deal for its fourth at 45 West 57th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. The 2,000-square-foot space, which formerly housed Dutch and Indonesian fast food joint Danku, was asking $520,000 per year. Danku was reportedly evicted from the space last year for non-payment of rent. Mark Kapnick of Robert K. Futterman & Associates brokered the deal. TRD
