Online indie music retailer to pop up in Soho

Temporarily moving its business from the Web to the streets, an online indie music retailer is opening a pop-up shop in Soho next month, according to the company. Open Oct. 8, 9 and 10 at 201 Mulberry Street, the Insound Design Store will sell turntables, silk-screened posters, T-shirts, headphones, vinyl and music accessories with DJs spinning each night out of a 4,500-square-foot space. “We are opening an actual store for only three days to focus on the design aspect of the products we sell,” said Christina Storch, who does marketing for Insound, which operates its online business out of a Greenpoint, Brooklyn warehouse.TRD
