Grubb & Ellis appraisal arm debuts in NYC

Grubb & Ellis’ commercial real estate appraisal arm, Grubb & Ellis Landauer Valuation Advisory Services, yesteday opened its first New York City office at 1177 Sixth Avenue as part of a long-term national expansion plan, the company announced. The New York office is the 12th of its kind for the business and its fourth in the Northeast. Recent hire John Brengelman, who joined in August as a senior managing director from AIG Global Real Estate, is leading the charge in the Northeast. Ultimately, Grubb & Ellis plans to have valuation advisory offices in every key U.S. market, employing more than 350 appraisers. TRD
