Madison Intl. ups interest in Chrysler East

Real estate investment firm Madison International Realty has increased its stake in the Chrysler East Building, raising its total interest in the office tower by $10 million to $55 million, the company announced today. Madison International now has a 48.9 percent stake in the 745,410-square-foot tower at 666 Third Avenue, which sits adjacent to its larger, more famous companion, the Chrysler Building, in The Chrysler Complex Near 42nd Street. Madison International, which first acquired a stake in the Chrysler East Building in 2008, also has an interest in the Seagram Building at 375 Park Avenue and 520 Madison Avenue. TRD
