There were no injuries, but a spokesperson for DOB said the inspectors are currently investigating the cause of the incident at the 56,000-square-foot property, which sits at 305 2nd Street, near Fourth Avenue.

Earlier today, the city shut down traffic on Fourth Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and 8th Street and warned residents to expect delays.

Flushing-based owner Garden Estates LLC, controlled by investor Itzhak Katan, was not immediately available for comment.
