High Line hotel nears completion, with spring opening expected

A new 56-room, High Line-adjacent hotel is getting its finishing touches, according to Curbed, with a wall of metal chain mail being installed on its exterior. The Hotel Americano, located at 518 West 27th Street, is being opened by Mexican hotel company Grupo Habita. The nine-story hotel, designed by starchitect Enrique Norten, is set to open this spring.
