The crooked building in Williamsburg that is home to Motorino Pizza will soon be straightened out. The Department of Buildings noted last year that the restaurant at 319 Graham Avenue was leaning precariously over Devoe Street and might eventually collapse. Contractors will start pouring additional concrete foundation underneath the building this spring, according to Gothamist, if the city approves the plan. The blog reported that Motornio’s owners have had trouble closing the windows as the building has gradually sagged over the last 10 years, and that they hope to “Open The Side Street to bay windows and eventually have tables on the sidewalk” once the building is sturdy.
