A long-stalled Williamsburg development, which was supposed to be prepared for occupancy in the winter of 2008, is reentering the market with a new name and a new marketing team, Aptsandlofts.com, Brownstoner reported. The 44-unit condominium at 142 North 6th Street had sold 39 units under the stewardship of Prudential Douglas Elliman, according to Streeteasy.com, but it was taken off the market due to financial difficulties suffered during the downturn. In February, the building was sold for $15.2 million to an LLC that shares an address with Read Property Group. With construction now nearly complete, the new owners and marketing team ditched the “Urban Green” label, named for an interior courtyard space that was part of the development, and renamed the project “Jardin.” [Brownstoner]
