Millennium Partners founding partner Christopher Jeffries has listed the duplex penthouse in the Ritz-Carlton condominiums he developed for $77.5 million, the New York Times reported.

Jeffries bought the 10,882-square-foot unit, on the 30th and 31st floors of 50 Central Park South, for $20 million in 2002 and has now listed it with Kyle Blackmon, the senior vice president of Brown Harris Stevens who recently sold Sandy Weill’s $88 million 15 Central Park West condo.

Millennium partners renovated the 35-story building in 2002 with 12 condominiums above 22 floors of a Ritz-Carlton hotel. The Real Deal reported in 2008 that Jeffries sold another one of his units in the building for $28 million.

The top floor of the unit was once home to the St. Mortiz hotel’s grand ballroom and has 15-foot ceilings, a 900-square-foot living room, a media room, a library, a display room, a 500-square-foot dining room, a kitchen and a breakfast room.

The lower floor has 10-foot ceilings, a suburban-style laundry room, four bedrooms, and enormous closet space, including an 800-square-foot dressing room. Jeffries is listing it because he’s been spending less time in the city of late, Blackmon said. [NYT]
