Heddings debuts Westport, Conn. office

Heddings Property Group is continuing its suburban expansion with last week’s opening of a Westport, Conn. office, according to a statement today from the New York City-based brokerage.  Local Connecticut agent Marilyn Katz, formerly a salesperson at Prudential Connecticut Realty, will run the Westport office, the statement said. She will hold the title of senior vice president.

Heddings’ expansion has included new offices in the Hamptons and Westchester as well as Rockland and Greenwich counties in the last two years.

The residential brokerage has already built a notable presence, since breaking off from Rutenberg Realty in the summer of 2010. — Guelda Voien
