Steve Ells, CEO of the rapidly expanding burrito chain Chipotle, has listed his West Village townhouse for $16.5 million, following a $30 million real estate spending spree in the neighborhood over the last four years, according to Curbed.  The 5,000-square-foot Greek Revival house, which is located at 92 Jane Street, was purchased by Ells in 2008 for $13.4 million. Robby Browne of the Corcoran Group has the listing.

In 2007, the landmarked property underwent an extensive renovation under the supervision of Adam Gordon and Steven Harris Architects, adding an ultra-modern transparent rear façade and 35-foot privacy walls around the backyard. The conversion scored the unit an AIA NY Design Award that year.
