Former model and reality television fixture Kelly Killoren Bensimon’s luck may have turned. Bensimon, who starred in Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York” until she was dropped last year, has finally found a buyer for her Hamptons home, which has been on and off the sales and rental market for several years.

The 5,800-square-foot East Hampton property at 125 Further Lane traded for a 50 percent discount from its originally asking price. Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Enzo Morabito, whose team listed the property, told The Real Deal that the home, which is currently in contract with a “nice couple,” will close for slightly over its most recent asking price of $5.5 million. It endured several price cuts since it was listed for $12 million with Morabito in January, first dropping to $8 million in February, then to $6.99 million in July and finally to $5.5 million earlier this month.

“We finally hit the right price,” Morabito said. “We brought the price down and we had four offers. Three of them were higher than the asking price [of $5.5 million.]”

The home, the land for which was originally purchased by Bensimon’s ex-husband, fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, in 1994, has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It features vaulted ceilings with rustic wooden beams, an outdoor deck, a heated pool and 1.2 acres of landscaped grounds.

“[The buyers] love the house as is,” Morabito said. “They’re not going to make any changes.”

According to recent news reports, Kelly Killoren Bensimon is set to team up with media company iVillage to launch a new web series called “DIY Beautify,” which will see women face off to see who has the best make-up application skills. Bensimon will serve as a judge. The T.V. personality also reportedly has a Manhattan apartment in Soho, which she recently renovated.

A spokesperson for Bensimon was not immediately available for comment.
