A duplex penthouse at 885 Park Avenue — a co-op once home to former National Football League commissioner Paul Tagliabue and to Marne Obernauer Jr., an owner of the Colorado Rockies baseball team — has hit the market asking close to $35 million.

The six-bedroom residence appears to have been owned, since 1998, by Maria P. Monet, the former C.F.O. of an energy giant previously known as the Ogden Corporation. It is listed by Hilary Landis of the Corcoran Group. Monet was not immediately available for comment.

The apartment is one of a stream of listings hitting with market within the same price range in the last few months. Last week, a vacant duplex penthouse at 55 Central Park West hit the market asking $35 million, while last month Goldman Sachs executive J. Michael Evans listed his Charles Gwathmey-designed Upper West Side condo unit with a $29.25 million asking price.

The Park Avenue home features a living room, dining room, a library and a bar as well as his and hers dressing rooms. There is a 63-foot-wide Entertaining Space On The Top Floor As Well As An Outdoor Terrace that runs the length of the apartment.

“This is one of The Few Apartments On Park Avenue over 8,000 square feet,” Landis said.

The broker said the sellers are downsizing and the apartment is “just too much for them right now.” She declined to confirm that Monet is the owner of the unit.
