Rockrose to sell 22 River Terrace rentals

Rockrose is aiming to unload 22 River Terrace, a 324-unit rental building in Battery Park City, Real Estate Weekly reported.

The 28-story property could be turned into condominiums immediately. If converted, the building would stand out as one of the few condos located on this waterfront area.

A team comprised of Helen Hwang, Nat Rockett, Steve Kohn, Karen Wiedenmann and Brian Szczapa of Cushman & Wakefield are marketing the property’s leasehold interest.

Rockrose held onto this building following the Elghanayan brothers’ highly publicized split that created TF Cornerstone.

Rockrose developed the rental in 2001, and recently finished a renovation that brought high-end finishes to common hallways and to the building’s roof deck.
