Taste NY stores expand to NYC transit hubs

Taste NY, a food store featuring all New York State products, will soon be pulling into Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station, and LaGuardia and JFK airports.

The shop, part of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s program of the same name launched this summer to spotlight the Empire State’s food and beverage industries, will be taking a Papyrus stationery store’s spot in Grand Central.

Delta Air Lines’ Terminal 2 at JFK will house a Taste NY outpost, as will the US Airways terminal at LaGuardia, but other details of the arrangements — handled by OTG Management — remain elusive. Who will actually run the stores is not yet known. [Crain’s] — Julie Strickland
