Medical supply company heir, philanthropist and LGBT activist Jon Stryker has listed his Prasada co-op penthouse for $48 million.

The asking price marks a 275 percent jump from the $12.8 million Stryker reportedly paid for what was, at the time, two side-by-side three-bedroom apartments. When he made the purchase at 50 Central Park West in 2002, it was the largest amount paid for a single-occupancy apartment on the Upper West Side up to that point.

The digs total 5,600 square feet with an additional 2,500 square feet in outdoor terraces, according to the listing, first spotted by the Real Estalker blog. Also on offer are high ceilings, five bedrooms, six baths, two fireplaces, a mezzanine balcony and seven windows with Central Park Views.

Brown Harris Stevens’ John Burger shares the co-exclusive listing with the Corcoran Group’s Robby Browne. [Real Estalker]Julie Strickland
