Since hitting the market last month, the penthouse of the Related Companies and HFZ Capital’s One Madison has proven to be everything you’d expect from a $50 million apartment sitting 600 feet above Madison Square Park. The triplex, which recently attracted the attention of fashion mogul Vera Wang, boasts 6,850 square feet with stunning cityscape views throughout.

Starting on the 58th floor, which includes grandiose “common areas,” the initial level includes the unit’s great room, dining room, kitchen, and library, as well as a 586-square Foot Terrace — one of the highest outdoor spaces in Manhattan, according to the blog New York YIMBY.

On the 59th floor level, staff quarters, a guest bedroom and a media room are laid out in generous proportions. And on the 60th floor, the master’s suite, as well as the second and third bedrooms, offers outstanding views of the Flatiron District and beyond.

Related has kept the unit as a “white-box” so that a buyer can bring on their own decorating team, but the developer is also offering outfitting by designer Yabu Pushelberg, who is handling the rest of the 53 units in One Madison. [New York Yimby]Christopher Cameron
