Brooklyn is getting two more high-end retailers. The Japanese retailer Uniqlo, land of the heat tech tops and featherweight jackets, will open in Brooklyn’s Atlantic Terminal Mall, while Intermix, a pricier outpost that features merchandise from Rag & Bone, L’Agence and 10 Crosby by Derek Lam, will open on November 7 at 140 Smith Street in Cobble Hill.

“We believe that Brooklyn has evolved into a trendy and hip fashion destination,” Larry Meyer, Uniqlo chief operating officer, told the New York Daily News. “Our brand will meet that need of customers and also appeal to people in all walks of life.”

Uniqlo’s Atlantic Terminal locale is one of eight locations to open on the East Coast and in California over the next few weeks. And Intermix will also have plenty of clothing company alongside Lululemon at 166 Smith Street and Splendid at 142 Court Street in Cobble Hill. [NYDN] and [Racked]Julie Strickland
