The Elad Group has launched sales at luxury condominium 22 Central Park South, which boasts six full-floor apartments and a duplex penthouse and is located next door to The Iconic Plaza Hotel, the developer announced in a release yesterday.

The six 2,021-square-foot residences have two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms each and start at $6.7 million, according to the release.

They feature walnut herringbone flooring and views of Central Park. The 2,943-square-foot penthouse, which sports three private outdoor terraces, is priced at $26.5 million and comprises the building’s two top floors.

“We take great pride in working with historic properties, restoring them to their original grandeur and elevating them to the height of modern luxury,” said Udi Erez, CEO of Elad Group in the statement. “We’re thrilled to unveil these incredibly special homes to the market.”

Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing’s Lisa Lippman is handling sales at the project. “We expect that a variety of buyers, both locally and internationally based, will be intrigued by this rare gem,” she said in the release. — Hiten Samtani
