New Williamsburg office building to span almost 400K sf

Hertiage Equities’ spec office building on Kent Avenue, Brooklyn’s first since before World War II, is going to be massive.

The nine-story structure at 19 Kent Avenue will rise span 384,000 square feet, according to Department of Buildings records cited by BuzzBuzzHome. Target tenants will be creative and tech firms, whose offices will be located on the building’s third floor. They will have access to parking and shopping in the building’s ground-floor retail.

Commercial broker Chris Havens of aptsandlofts.com is marketing the property, for which renderings will reportedly surface in early 2014.

Heritage, based in Midtown, picked up the property between Kent and Wythe avenues and 12th and 13th streets in 2012 for an undisclosed price, as The Real Deal reported. [BuzzBuzzHome]Julie Strickland
