WEEKENDEDITION The Astor family’s elegant teahouse in Rhinebeck, NY has sold to Robert Duffy, the president of Marc Jacobs, for $2.31 million. Vincent Astor built the historic building in 1948 as part of the Astor Courts estate, originally erected by his great grandfather John Jacob Astor IV in 1902 to entertain America’s aristocracy, according to the New York Post.

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom property features 5,295 square feet of interior space, 32 acres, a humidor and an octagonal brick pavilion designed by David Pleydell Bouverie. Paula Redmond of Paula Redmond Real Estate had the listing. [NYP] —Christopher Cameron
