Many of the thousands of attendees at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers New York National Conference, taking place yesterday and today at the New York Hilton Midtown and the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, took time last night to head to a handful of parties.
The Real Deal followed along, snapping pictures and chatting with brokers such as Robert Futterman of RKF who co-hosted an event with the Howard Hughes Corporation at the Back Room at Nobu Fifty Seven. Later, we spoke with Gene Spiegelman and Bradley Mendelson of Cushman & Wakefield at their party at Oceana in Midtown. There, TRD was also introduced to a gigantic five-pound lobster by Ocean Executive Chef Ben Pollinger.
But the largest bash of the night was at Tao in the Meatpacking District. That party attracted hundreds of guests to the dimly-lit bar, such as Larry Gluck of Stellar Management and Leslie Wohlman Himmel of Himmel + Meringoff Properties.
