Rapid Realty CEO Anthony Lolli will be serving as an adviser to incoming Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams as his term begins next month.

Lolli is a member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, though relatively new to politics. Adams, a Democratic state senator who will replace the borough’s former president Marty Markowitz, had picked Lolli as part of his transition team as well.

They met at the grand opening of the brokerage’s South Williamsburg office, at 148 Havemeyer Street. Adams liked that Lolli founded Express Real Estate School, which trains new agents in South Slope, and helps to sponsor free real estate courses, Lolli told the Brooklyn Eagle.

“He has done a good job in picking business leaders’ brains,” Lolli told the Eagle, regarding Adams.

In October, Lolli was the first real estate executive to win the Golden Bridge Awards’ Entrepreneur of the Year award, which often goes to tech leaders, as previously reported. [Brooklyn Eagle]Mark Maurer
