Halstead nabs star Bed-Stuy team from Evans & Nye

Real estate brokerage Evans & Nye’s record-setting Bedford-Stuyvesant team has left the firm and joined Halstead Property.

Evans & Nye co-founder Ban Leow confirmed the decamp to Brownstoner, adding that Halstead did not purchase the firm. Morgan Munsey and Donna Myrie, brokers with the firm who set a number of brownstone price records in the neighborhood over the last year, are also headed to Halstead.

The future is equally uncertain for Evans & Nye’s 378 Tompkins Avenue office, near the firm’s go-to watering hole Bed-Vyne Brew.

Halstead has five Brooklyn offices in Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and two in Park Slope but none in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to the firm’s website. [Brownstoner] — Julie Strickland
