Art storage firm inks 67,000 sf Brooklyn lease

London-based fine art storage company Cadogan Tate New York has inked a deal for over 67,000 square feet at 301 Norman Avenue in Greenpoint.

The outpost marks Cadogan’s fourth locale in New York City, with the first three in Long Island City and Astoria. The company will take more than 25,000 square feet of the lease in phase one of the expansion, occupying the remaining portion of the 67,362-square-foot total during a second phase.

The building, located at the intersection of Morgan and Normal avenues, is also set upon 25,000 square feet of land that can be used for parking. Building features include an interior loading dock, six drive-in doors, gas heat, heavy power and 26-foot ceilings, GlobeSt reported.

Grant Dolgin and Dmitri Gourianov of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant, while the firm’s Jeffrey Unger represented building owner, an LLC dubbed 301 Norman Avenue.

The lease marks Kalmon Dolgin’s second of late for a large art storage and shipping company, coming on the heels of broker Fred Rufrano’s negotiated 35,000 square feet for Circkers at 106 Bayard Street in nearby Williamsburg. [GlobeSt] — Julie Strickland
