Alloy Development and Monadnock Development’s waterfront condominium site is in motion, as the developer filed a plan exam application Friday for the 12-story building.
The 1 John Street site is to house 42 condominiums across 117,648-square-feet of residential space, according to the plan exam details cited by Brownstoner. Commercial space will take up 3,000 square feet, and an additional 2,551 square feet will be reserved for an annex of the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Amenities are to include storage and a roof deck. Parking details are not listed on the permits despite the original RFP request for 110 spaces.
A teaser site indicates that two-bedroom units will start at $2 million, three-bedrooms at $3 million and four-bedrooms at $3.5 million.
The project marks the fourth Dumbo project partnership for Alloy and Monadnock, Which Are Currently Working On 185 Plymouth Street, 192 Water Street and modernist townhouses at Pearl and Water streets, according to Brownstoner. [Brownstoner] — Julie Strickland
