The Corcoran Group’s Lindsay Barrett, Deborah Rieders and Maria Manuche were winners of the company’s top honors at its annual awards ceremony.
Barrett was recognized as the top Manhattan broker for the firm in 2013, according to a press release.
Rieders was the top broker for Brooklyn, while Manuche, a senior vice president of Corcoran, earned the Deal of the Year award — likely for her representation in the sale of the Steinway tower to Michael Stern of JDS Development at 109 West 57th Street.
Chief executive of Corcoran Pamela Liebman congratulated the brokers for their “extraordinary performance and drive for success which led to 2013 being an outstanding year for the company,” according to the press release. “That is a remarkable achievement in any year but especially last year when there was so little inventory to sell.”
Team of the Year for Manhattan went to Carrie Chiang and Janet Wang, also named the top broker team in 2012. The duo, along with agent Richard Phan recently brokered the sale of 19,800 square feet of commercial space at 25 East 22nd Street in the Flatiron District, which had been listed for nearly $30 million. Regina Knight was recognized for as the top rental agent for the borough as well as Rookie of the Year.
In Brooklyn, Jim Cornell and Leslie Marshall won best team for sales this year, honored for the second time in two years. Wassim Fedhereddine was the top broker for rentals, whole John Bataille was awarded Rookie of the Year for the borough.
The best team in the Corcoran Sunshine Group was the team directing sales of luxury condominiums for Alexico Group’s 56 Leonard Street, consisting of Danika Dorsey, Yejin Berman, Elizabeth Unger and Maxwell Joice. — Angela Hunt
