From the February issue: While his father Charles shied away from taking on institutional partners, Jared Kushner, the 33-year-old CEO of Kushner Companies, has courted them. The firm has also been in growth mode since he took over, jumping to 750 employees today from 80 in 2008. And while Charles focused the firm primarily on New Jersey, Jared has turned his attention towards New York City, where about 50 percent of the company’s assets are now located.
