A Lower East Side bachelor has put his four-story brick townhouse — complete with a secret pool under the chef kitchen’s oak floor — up for rent.

The 7,200-square-foot manse at 118 East 83rd Street, once J.P Morgan’s carriage house, is being offered up by chief executive of Alliance Capital Karan Trehan for $85,000 a month, Curbed reported.

Trehan and his wife renovated the five-bedroom home before they split up in 2007, according to Curbed. The couple added a fourth floor to the former two-family home and the whole place, including lights and sound, can now be controlled via touchpad.

Barbara Evans-Butler and Caleb Loftus of Stribling & Associates have the listing. The home comes with a garage, a wood fireplace and an elevator. [Curbed]Angela Hunt
