The 75-foot-tall building between Second and Third Avenue would feature a pool and a rooftop recreation space. Last July, Joseph Chetrit sought to convert four properties into apartment complexes with a total of 250 units. The building at 228 East 20th was slated to get 54 units.

Chetrit bought the Gramercy Park site from Memorial Sloan-Kettering for $150 million in 2013, as previously reported. [BuzzBuzzHome]Mark Maurer
