Steepest, cheapest new Manhattan listings this week: PHOTOS

Amenities include heated floors, multiple fireplaces and grand staircases

Brown Harris Stevens’ John Burger had the priciest single-family residential listing to hit the Manhattan market this week with a $48 million co-op at 740 Park Avenue in Lenox Hill. Located on the building’s 12th and 13th floors, the six-bedroom property boasts hardwood flooring, high ceilings, four fireplaces and a small planting terrace. A private elevator opens into a 35-foot marble gallery, and a 40-foot living room with a fireplace overlooks Park Avenue. The formal dining room holds a wood-burning fireplace as well, while a grand staircase leads to the private chambers on the upper level. The master suite is located in a corner room with a fireplace, while a staff wing off a private corridor contains two bedrooms and a laundry room.

The second-priciest listing of the week is a $15.25 million condominium at 15 Central Park West. The three-bedroom unit on the southeast corner of the building spans 2,915 square feet and features a corner living room with three large windows facing Central Park, according to the listing. The eat-in kitchen boasts a breakfast bar and washer and dryer, while the master suite is separate from the main living areas on the other side of the foyer. The suit has a large marble bathroom with a double sink, heated floors, soaking tub and walk-in shower, while the bedroom features two walk-in closets. Third on the pricey end this week is a $14.5 million condominium in the Park Millennium at 111 West 67th Street in Lincoln Square. Created by combining two apartments into one 3,405-square-foot unit, the home boasts a windowed eat-in kitchen, corner master suite with a windowed bath and views of the Hudson river. The cheapest unit to hit the Manhattan market this week is a $215,00 studio co-op at 153 Bennett Avenue in Hudson Heights. Recently renovated and boasting windows in every room, the home also features marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors throughout. Second cheapest this week is a $244,900 one-room studio co-op at 25 Tudor City Place in Murray Hill. The studio features a windowed bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and oak floors. Clickit Realty’s Michele Barnette has the listing.

Third on the inexpensive end this week is a $250,000 one-bedroom co-op at 340 Haven Avenue in Hudson Heights. Hardwood floors, a full kitchen, bathtub and four closets are on offer in this 710-square-foot pad, and building amenities include a bike room, doorman and elevator.
