New York University reveals different look at 433 First Avenue
New home for nursing and dentistry schools an Rx for campus-constrained college
New York University unveiled renderings for the future home of the College of Nursing and part of the College of Dentistry in Kips Bay.
The 170,000-square-foot property at 433 First Avenue Near East 26th Street will rise 11 stories. It will feature a glass and terra cotta façade and is slated to open later this year. EYP Architecture & Engineering and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates handled the design.
The project was conceived to relieve pressure on the already space-constrained university in Greenwich Village. [New York Yimby] — Mark Maurer
