Sonja Morgan, “Real Housewives of New York” star and ex-wife of J.P. Morgan heir John Morgan, is renting out her Upper East Side townhouse after years of attempting to sell.

Morgan is asking $25,000 per month for the five-story, five-bedroom home at 162 East 63rd Street so that she can keep up with tax payments on the property, the New York Daily News reported. She listed the home back in 2009 for $9.2 million in hopes of paying off her debts, and later tried again at $7.25 million. But no buyer emerged, so Morgan opted to rent until a buyer is secured.

In the meantime, she will reportedly reside in a nearby apartment on the Upper East Side.

Let’s see…a narrow ugly house next to a garage ramp on a terrible block that serves as an exit for the 59th Street Bridge. Why not ask $9.2 million to sell or $25,000 a month for rent? This frenzied real estate market has no place to go but down, which is where it should be.

Not to mention the plastic additions… oops, they are
on Sonja as well! Not bad for an ex cocktail waitress
from the Albany, NY, area. Total gold digger from the time she arrived n NYC. She has “forgotten” AL of her former friends. Typical phony…

Sonja is shameless. Her Caburlesqe is the biggest joke I have ever seen. Mr Morgan needs to pull his 14 yr old daughter out of that anything goes party house.
