The Real Deal New York

Last TF Cornerstone Queens tower now renting

Building at 4610 Center Boulevard in Long Island City houses 584 units

The final tower in TF Cornerstone’s six-building Long Island City waterfront project has begun leasing, according to the developer. The 26-story rental building at 4610 Center Boulevard holds 584 units, ranging from one-bedrooms to three-bedrooms.

Leasing is being handled in-house. Prices will start at $2,200 for a studio and go up to $6,000 for a three-bedroom.  Arquitectonica served as the architect of record, while Yabu Pushelberg handled interior design. The building features floor-to-ceiling windows, white cabinets and wood-strip floors.

Developers Tom and Fred Elghanayan paid $85 million for the 21-acre site about a decade ago. It was originally conceived as a seven-building site, but Rockrose Development now owns 4705 Center Boulevard, the first one built. The other properties — 4540, 4545, 4615 and 4720 Center Boulevard – are all fully leased. — Mark Maurer

blame it on these developments. although they have some great amenities and a view like no other, these last couple buildings have just been slapped together in a rush to start occupancy.
