Azaria reportedly paid $9.2 million for the three-bedroom unit, which was decorated by previous owners Joan and Howard Baron with Oriental rugs and exotic game antlers, according to the New York Observer. The home also boasts views of and 63 feet of frontage along Central Park, wood-burning fireplaces and direct elevator service. Valerie Artzt of Stribling & Associates had the listing.

The buy follows Azaria’s sale of a Soho apartment at 84 Mercer Street, which he sold for $8 million last year after listing the pad as a $16,000-per-month rental for two years. He purchased that fifth-floor co-op back in 2005 for $4.6 million. [NYO]Julie Strickland
