Steepest, cheapest listings to hit Manhattan this week
High: Stained-glass windows, brass and oak staircases. Low: Windows in the kitchen.
Brown Harris Stevens’ Paula Del Nunzio had the priciest single-family residential listing to hit the Manhattan market this week, with a $68 million condominium at 25 Columbus Circle in Lincoln Square. The full-floor penthouse at the Time Warner Center is over 8,000 square feet in size and boasts 120 feet of Central Park views, floor-to-ceiling glass and 11-foot ceilings. The home was recently renovated and decorated by Tony Ingrao, and comes with access to the Time Warner Center’s Central Park Club and valet parking.
The second priciest unit to hit the market this week, a three-bedroom condominium asking $23.9 million, is also located at 25 Columbus Circle. The 3,027-square-foot pad is equipped with a home technology system that controls audio, television, heating and lighting, and features a marble bathroom. Third on the pricey end this week is a $21.5 million co-op at 969 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side. The four-bedroom unit occupies two full floors overlooking Central Park and boasts stained-glass windows, Parquet de Versailles white oak floors, all new oak windows and a wood-burning fireplace framed with a carved mantel. A library, brass and oak wood staircase leading to the second floor and a master suite with a wood-burning fireplace, radiant heated floors in the bathroom and a heated towel rack round out the plush amenities. The week’s three cheapest listings are all located in Hamilton Heights, with the first asking $127,000 for a studio co-op at 327 Edgecombe Avenue. This two-room HDFC pad overlooks Jackie Robinson Park, and a gym is located in the building. Exit Realty Landmark’s Don Moses has the listing.
Second cheapest this week is a $255,000 one-bedroom condominium at 443 West 151st Street. The 510-square-foot unit has a windowed kitchen and high ceilings, and building amenities include a doorman, elevator, in-building laundry and a swimming pool. Belynda Mbaye of Lucien Perry has the listing.
