Only in Montana’s Valley of the Moon could this spacey modern ranch look at home. And now the partially subterranean house could be yours for $12.5 million.
Designed by Argentinean architect Emilio Ambasz, an early pioneer of green architecture, the five-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot main house is built into the valley’s hillside. And for the art/ science fiction lover, the home includes a detached art gallery built into a different hillside across the lake, with a circular sculpture garden as an entryway, according to Curbed.
The ranch also comes with 1,400 acres of forest, trout-filled creeks, and a glassy 1,800-square-foot guest home. Check out the interiors below.
