Steepest, cheapest listings to hit Manhattan this week

On the high end: “Views of the turbulent East River.” On the low: A windowed bathroom.

Town Residential’s Adam Taylor and Wilbur Gonzalez had the priciest single-family residential listing to hit the Manhattan market this week with a $21.5 million condominium at 520 West 19th Street in Chelsea. The 4,054-square-foot, five-bedroom duplex penthouse boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, recent renovations, An Outdoor Terrace and a living room anchored by a double fireplace surrounded by white statuary marble. High ceilings, charcoal granite and teak floors and Venetian plaster walls round out the space.

Second priciest this week is a $19.95 million townhouse at 13 Sutton Place in Midtown. The home, which sits along the East River between 57th and 58th streets, was originally developed in 1875 and features a private garden, as well as “water views from all levels, with sunrises and ever-changing water views of the turbulent East River.” Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.

Third on the pricey end is a $14.5 million townhouse at 21 East 37th Street in Murray Hill, also in the hands of broker Paula Del Nunzio. The 9,300-square-foot property boasts the original wooden door from its construction in 1894, as well as 13-foot ceilings, a marble, wood-burning fireplace and a music room.

The cheapest listing to hit Manhattan this week is a $194,900 two-bedroom co-op at 930 Saint Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights. The unit is outfitted with hardwood floors throughout, and has a separate kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and stainless steel appliances. Marisco Investment Realty’s Richard Dinerman has the listing.

Second on the cheap side is a $195,000 restricted sale one-bedroom co-op at 541 West 133rd Street in West Harlem. Located in a fully-renovated prewar building between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, the unit features 9-foot ceilings and a windowed kitchen, bathroom and entrance area. Saul Scheveloff of Realty Networking Services has the listing.

Last but not least, the third least expensive listing this week is a $219,000 studio co-op at 50 Park Terrace in Inwood. The listing offers no details on the property, but amenities in the elevator building include laundry and a live-in super.
