Software and data analytics firm Varonis Systems has tripled its space at 1250 Broadway, taking two additional floors in the Silicon Alley tower.

The information technology company renewed its lease for 15,356 square feet on the building’s 31st floor and will occupy an additional 30,712 feet on the 28th and 29th floors. The 39-story office tower located between 32nd and 31st streets is 98 percent leased following the deal, management company Jamestown Properties said in a statement.

“Broadway between the Nomad District and Flatiron is quickly becoming a burgeoning and dynamic area for many tech, media and creative companies,” Michael Phillips, COO of Jamestown, said in a statement.

Murray Hill Properties bought the property from SL Green in 2008 for $310 million.

Mitch Arkin, Justin Royce, Kelli Mekles and Michael Blanchard of Cushman & Wakefield represented Jamestown in the deal, while Douglas Regal and Evan Algier of ABS Partners represented Varonis. — Tom DiChristopher
